Embedded Systems Programming



Mini Robotic Submersible Dredge



Bluegreen Tech is working with the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) on their Mini Submersible Dredge, developing the machine control software and HMI display that allows the dredge to be operated remotely. The project brought together hydraulic controls, CANbus, Wifi, and HTML5 to form a unique, one-off solution utilizing multiple embedded controllers, industrial Wifi radios and PC's.



PCB, Hardware, Firmware Development



SDI-12/ModBus Data Interface



We developed a completely custom microcontroller-based cable "dongle" for a Fortune 500 company to convert between the SDI-12 instrumentation protocol and ModBus. With low power consumption in mind, the bare-metal firmware was carefully crafted in ARM7 assembly and C.



PLC's and Instrumentation



ModBus / Analog Data Conversion



Bluegreen Tech has developed a line of data converters that interface ModBus sensors and instrumentation to legacy 4-20mA analog inputs. Our MCLx line of converters allows modern instruments to be used with legacy SCADA systems that only have current-loop inputs.
